Computers, Internet, & Technology
Patrons without a library card may ask library staff for a guest pass. This guest pass is good for two one-hour long public computer sessions, and expires after 24 hours. Minors under the age of 18 without a library card must have a parent/guardian present to request a guest pass. For more information please click here for our full public computer policy.
Black and White – $0.15 per page
Color – $0.25 per page
To print in black and white, select the “B & W” printer when sending the print job. For color prints, select the “Color” printer. Follow the on-screen prompts to send the print job. For the User ID, you may use your first name or your library card number. It is recommended that you do not log off the computer until you have your printed pages in hand and are sure that they look how you expected. Please be aware that different web pages, email clients, and applications all have different ways of printing.
It is highly recommended that you use the “print preview” option whenever available to see how your print job will look on paper before sending it. Refunds will not be issued for print jobs that do not look as expected due to user error / negligence.
Please note that submitting personal data to websites and/or online forms goes beyond the control of the library.
The library limits patrons to two 1 hour long sessions per day. If no one is waiting for a computer, each session may be extended by up to 15 minutes. After those two sessions are done, library staff may grant additional uses at their discretion if there are plenty of computers available.
If you are taking an online test or need longer sessions for something like academic research, let a library staff member know, and we can make special arrangements.
There are no limits on public wireless use.
