Teen Zumba Program @ the Central Library

Saturday, March 10 from 10am-12pm

Teens – learn the history of Zumba then participate in this new exercise craze!

Afterward, enjoy healthy and delicious refreshments which will include homemade salsa and a sparkling lime beverage.

Participants will need to have a liability waiver signed by parents in order to participate.

February Basic Computer Classes

Central Library

Class Set 1 – Wednesdays, February 8, 15 and 22 from 2-4 pm

Class Set 2 – Fridays, February 10, 17, and 24 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Subjects covered will be basic mouse and keyboard use, an overview of computer hardware and software, navigation and understanding of the Windows 7 Operating System, basic Internet browser and search engine use, and the option to sign up for e-mail.

Classes are free, but space is limited

Read & Relax Adult Winter Reading Program

This year’s Adult Winter Reading Program will begin January 28^th and run through March 10^th.

Books in print, digital or audio format may be read or listened to in order for a chance to win prizes.

Just fill out a ticket for each book you finish to enter in the grand prize drawing.

Weekly prizes will also be awarded randomly to participants.

The more you read the more chances you have to win!

Family Movie Matinee

Get comfy! Bring a lawn chair or blanket, along with a snack and covered drink and join us for this FREE PG-rated movie featuring those little blue men!

When the evil wizard, Gargamel, chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours — in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

All ages are welcome to attend this family movie.
