St. Genevieve Catholic Cemetery, also known as Calmoutier Cemetery, is located in the northern portion of Salt Creek Township in Holmes County just a few miles from the Wayne County line. The church, which closed in 1981, was part of the Columbus Diocese. Father James Semonin, from Parma, has done extensive work on the history of this Catholic community and his research can be found in the Genealogy Room at the Central Library.
