      Hi Deb,

Below you’ll find some information we were able to gather on the Nashville Presbyterian Cemetery. If you live in the area, you are welcome to stop by the Central Library and browse the collection in the Genealogy and Local History Room for more information.

      (a) the Nashville Presbyterian Cemetery is on the just to the west of Nashville Elementary on SR 39.
      (b) inscriptions for the cemetery are on the Holmes Cemetery section of our website, under Knox Township
      (c) in 1845 a colony from Hopewell Presbyterian Church was organized into Nashville Presbyterian. The first church building was on the SW corner of the cemetery. About everybody left the church of Hopewell to constitute the church in Nashville. (source: red “Old Schools, Early Churches Notebook – Washington Township)
      (d) A photo of the Nashville Presbyterian Church can be found on page 111 of the 1907 Standard Atlas of Holmes County Ohio by A. J. Stiffler – available in the Genealogy/Local History room
      (e) the church no longer exists

      ~Michele
