Hello Holmes County Ladies, I am interested in finding out more about my Great, Great, Great Grandfather, Josiah Robinson, a schoolmaster from NJ of the Delaware Lenape Unami Tribe of Indians, who is known to have died in Winesburg, Holmes Co., OH. I have no dates, but know that his daughter, Juliana Robinson, was born in Shanesville, OH (Sugar Creek) on April 15, 1830. Josiah’s wife was: Jane Armstrong from a Pennsylvania Dutch background, who died August 13, 1875, in Holmes County or Tuscarawas Co., OH. I am hoping to find where both, Josiah and Jane Robinson are buried. 🙂 If you know of any leads for me, before I begin physically scouting, please do let me know. 🙂 Thank you so much. My husband and I are from FL and love to visit Holmes Co., OH, long before I knew that my grandparents were from this area. I am 61 yrs. of age and a nanny in Zanesville, OH, so I can come visit your area from time to time. Thank you for any help you can give me. Sincerely, Mrs. Diane K. Sarlo, from the line of Robinson-Armstrong, Robinson-Thompson, Thompson-Crosby, Crosby-Smith, Smith-Venema, Venema-Sarlo
