The Holmes County Public Library looks forward to welcoming the public back into its buildings by appointment only, beginning Monday, June 15, 2020.
Call the library location you wish to visit and reserve a time slot during regular operating hours. Appointments will begin at the top of the hour and last for 45 minutes.
The following services with be offered:
- Browsing the collection
- Public computer use
- Copy & FAX services
Patrons may also pick up Summer Reading packets.
For those who would rather not enter the building, the Library’s material pick-up service will continue to be an option.
Patrons will notice several changes in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- Barriers at help desks – separating patrons and staff
- Public computers spaced farther apart, complying with social distancing
- Toys and activities removed from the Children’s Department
- Drinking fountains unavailable
- Seating areas reduced
- Materials returned are quarantined for 72 hours prior to being checked in and re-shelved.
Staff will adhere to the following recommendations from the CDC and expect our patrons to do the same:
- Practice social distancing by staying 6 feet away from others
- Wear a cloth face cover
- Refrain from entering the building if feeling ill
