You can sign up for a library card at any of our branches – even on the bookmobile. To get an adult library card, you must have a current ID and proof of your present address.
Your PIN number is the last 4 digits of the phone number we have on record for you. If you have forgotten your PIN number, you can call the library at 330-674-5972. Be sure to have your library card handy (we will need your card number) and be ready to answer some questions (such as your address, etc.) to verify your identity.
If you would like to change your PIN number, you may do so online. From the
library website go to the Catalog. Click on the My Account tab at the top of the page. You will need to sign in with your current library card number and PIN. Once you have signed in to the My Account tab, scroll down and click on the Profile link. From here you can change your email and PIN information.

To find more information about your local branch, choose Locations from the main menu, then click on the name of the desired location.
Bookmobile information and schedules are available online. On the
library website, select Locations from the main menu. Then click on
Bookmobile. Scroll down to see the current schedule.
You can get to our online Catalog from the main menu on the
library website. You will see a basic search box, which is set to a “title browse” search automatically. To search by author, keyword or to browse alphabetically, click on the ‘search’ options box (where it says “title browse”). Then highlight the type of search you would like to perform. Type your search word(s) into the box to the right.
Library patrons are able to have email notifications sent to them when requested items arrive or checked-out items are coming due. To sign up for this service, you can call the library at 330-674-5972, be sure to have your library card number handy. You may also stop by the library and ask someone at the desk to sign you up, or request an Email Sign-up form to fill out and turn in later.
You can also update your email information online. From the library website go to the Catalog. Click on the My Account tab at the top of the page. You will need to sign in with your current library card number and PIN. Once you have signed in to the My Account tab, scroll down and click on the Profile link. From here you can change your email information, however, you will still need to call or stop by the library in order to activate Email Notification.

From here you can see the items you have checked out, the items you have requested, any blocks (fees or messages) on your account, and your profile information.
To renew items, you must sign in to your library card account. From the
library website go to the Catalog. Click on the My Account tab at the top of the page. You will need to sign in with your current library card number and PIN. Your Account Overview will open. Click on the “Items Out” link. This will bring up a list of everything checked out on your card, and each item’s due date. Select an item by checking the box to the left of the title. When you have selected all of the titles you wish to renew, click the “Renew” button at the top or bottom of the list.
Once you find the item you would like to request from the catalog (
how do I do this?), you can request that the item be held for you, or sent to your nearest branch. To do this, click on the “Request any Copy” button in the lower right corner of the item description OR to request a specific copy (or in the case of magazines or series, a specific issue), scroll down to see the list of items available. Locate the copy or issue that you would like to request and click “Request this copy”. You will be asked to sign in with your library card number and your PIN (what is this?). After you sign in, you will see a box that allows you to choose which location you would like to have the requested item sent to. Choose your location, and then
click the Request button. You will see a message telling you your request has been placed, or if there has been an error processing the request.
